Mr. Coleman is a seasoned advisor who brings extensive global experience with over 40 years in both regulated and non-regulated business operations and with experience in the negotiation of a wide range of service agreements in both the private and public sectors. As an executive with P&G, Kevin managed the IT Infrastructure organizations first in Canada, then in the Asia Pacific region, and finally in Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. During this last assignment, the IT Infrastructure leadership was also made responsible for corporate facilities in their regions. Kevin’s final roles with P&G were as a leader in the outsourcing of End User Computing, and Facilities Management, and then as Global Transition Leader for the new FM agreement.. Kevin joined ISG upon leaving P&G. With ISG, Kevin has either led or advised 5 large scale outsourcing negotiations, and a number of regional transactions. Today Kevin is working as an independent sourcing advisor.

- Advised a larger insurance company on outsourcing its desktop and mainframe computing environments (2020)
- Advised a Canadian energy producer on an outsourcing initiative (2019)
- Advised the Montreal-based team as part of a global strategy setting initiative for a very large international shipping company (2019)
- Acted as CFO for a new Canadian corporation through its incorporation and first 18 months of operation. (2018-2020)
- Conducted win/loss study interviews for a global IT services provider
- Conducted an ERP software selection study and recommendation for a major global transportation provider (2017)
- Provided guidance to a major Australia telecomm provider on the transition of end user support services to a new provider (2017)
- Advised the Victorian government (Australia) on procurement of IT infrastructure services to support the stand-up of a new agency (2016 – 17)
- Conducted an ERP software selection study and recommendation for a Victorian government agency (2016)
- Advised a major Canadian oil & gas company on negotiation for procurement of maintenance services for their gas stations and truck stops across Canada.
- Advised a global payments processing company on the development of a multi-national contact center strategy
- Advised a major electrical utility company on outsourcing property management services for their offices, workshops and warehouses, transmission and distribution stations and rights of way.
- Advised a global shoe manufacturer and retailer on 2nd generation outsourcing of IT infrastructure including End User Computing and data centre services. Also assisted in the renegotiation of the Application Development & Maintenance contract for support of their ERP and retail sales transaction systems (2013-14).
- Assisted a newly divested industrial equipment manufacturing firm with rapid negotiation for critical IT infrastructure services including End User Computing, network and application hosting services(2013).
- Advised the Australian Department of Defence on the procurement of Data Centre Services 2012)
- Led an outsourcing transaction for telecommunications services including mobile telephony and field network services for an Australian coal seam gas field development company (2011-12)
- Participated in a study of the feasibility of moving to an outsourced cloud computing environment for the Australian Department of Climate Change (2011)
- Advised on the sourcing strategy for Enterprise Computing Services including data centre, mainframe, midrange and storage services for the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (2011)
- Led the renegotiation of a contract to provide inspection and rectification services for improperly installed home foil insulation for the Australian Government Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency (2011)
- Led negotiations for an Asia pharmaceuticals distribution firm on sourcing mid-range computing for legacy systems and mid-range hosting to support a new ERP implementation. The solution negotiated was an IAAS flexible hosting in a shared supplier cloud environment. (2010)
- Advised the negotiating team of a global integrated chip maker on establishing a facilities management outsourcing agreement for their North American facilities (2009, 2010)
- Advised a US broadcasting and media company on their approach to the creation of a shared services organization for F&A, HR, and IT functions. (2009)
- Participated in the assessment of a Canadian financial services institution on feasibility of creating a shared services IT organization, with both insourced and outsourced components. The scope was primarily mid-range and mainframe computing, and included the consolidation of a number of separate computing locations run by the different divisions within the corporation. (2009)
- Led an assessment project, and provided advice to the negotiating team for the outsourcing of facilities management for a large North American printing company. (2008-2009)
- Led the negotiation of a facilities management agreement for a global bank, covering all properties in all countries. (2009)
- Led a strategic assessment project for an Australian bank to evaluate sourcing options for their midrange, mainframe and End User Computing functions. This study has now resulted in new outsourcing agreements. (2008)
- Advised a global electronics manufacturer on current organization and performance gaps and a roadmap for future development for their IT shared services organization. (2008)
- Advised a global food company on the transition in Europe and Asia for a global IT sourcing agreement. (2006-2007). The scope included the separation of a large Swiss data centre and migration of the in-scope midrange and mainframe computing for a complex SAP implementation to a German data centre owned and operated by the successful bidder. Scope also included End User Computing, network and service desk
- Advised on the negotiation of a midrange, mainframe and End User Computing agreement for a leading tobacco company. This project was the result of a corporate separation and included splitting computing in a current data centre and moving to a new supplier location. This included the splitting and migration of a complex SAP implementation. (2005–2006)
- Advised a US national real estate brokerage on outsourcing their IT, F&A and Procurement functions (2004)
Prior to beginning work as a sourcing advisor, Kevin served in supply chain and IT infrastructure business leadership roles with Procter and Gamble (P&G) for 26 years. During the last 8 years, as an executive member of the Workplace Services leadership team, Kevin participated in the creation of the Global Business Services shared services organization for the delivery of distributed IT infrastructure and facilities management, and was a member of the negotiation team for the outsourcing of those services.
Kevin is a registered retired Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada. He speaks business French in addition to his native English.
Kevin has a Highly-Protected Australian Government Security Clearance which is currently held with the Department of Defence.
